The new 890 router series comes from a Porter-cable built, 2-1/4 HP, soft start motor with advanced electronic feedback (10,000 - 23,000 rpm). To ensure accuracy, the model 893PK features a dedicated knob for easy micro-height adjustments (to 1/128') and a bypass control for quick macro-adjustments and motor removal. Features: motor transitions quickly between fixed base (included), plunge base (included), and traditional spiral down bases (690 series). Stackable, multi-function carrying case. An auto-spindle lock with switch lock-out ensures simple single-wrench/single-hand bit changes. Release the motor, adjust bit height, and clamp the motor from above the router table with 3/16' hex socket (not included) or model #75301 kit (not included). Macro-height lever for coarse adjustments and tool-less motor release. Dual-position on/off switch with automatic bit-changing lock-'off'. Plunge base features thumb rotating stop turret, brass bushings, finger adjustable micro-depth stop, and through-the-base dust collection. Fine depth settings to 1/128' with micro-adjustment knob. This kit includes router motor, fixed base, plunge base, 1/4' and 1/2' collets, sub-base centering gauge, collet wrench, carrying case, operating manual.
